It's a beautiful and sweet experience, but definitely not as challenging as the first. The first game was still very abstract, with a mysterious and even sometimes slightly dark atmosphere; this sequel is narratively stronger, which is lovely if familiar and predictable, and features real-world references in the level structure in a less unfamiliar setting. As a result, it feels less monumental. But it's still beautiful and fun while it lasts.

I love everything about this game. From the stunning graphics, to the beautiful colorful scenery, to the MC Escher-esque way of traversing each level. The music is soothing and the levels are challenging.

It's not as perfect as the first part, but it's still amazing.
